Garden of Weedin'

The Garden of Weedin' is located minutes from Sioux Falls on the South Dakota - Iowa border, just off of Highway 42. 

We are family owned and operated. 

What you see here is grown here.  We do not bring in produce from other sources.

Mary Ann starts the seeds and nutures the tiny plants until they are ready to be planted in the garden.  Once the garden is planted, Mary Ann is very busy watering, weeding, picking - she does it all.

Galen has a full time job, so the time he has to spend in the garden is very limited.  He keeps the equipment running and helps when he can.   And of course Diesel is there to oversee the entire operation. 

We are proud to offer a delicious selection of healthy, home-grown veggies thoughout the summer and autumn.  Everything at our LOW prices!

Whether you need a few tomatoes for your dining table, a few bushels of tomatoes for canning, or all the ingredients to make fresh salsa, we have it.  

At the Garden of Weedin' we never pre-package our produce.   Our veggies are fresh picked to ensure the best quality.  You buy the amount you need.  

We look forward to our annual Pumpkin Picking Days!  This is a great family outing - choose your own pumpkin from our pumpkin patch - only $1 per pumpkin (regular size pumpkins).  It's also a great time to purchase other items to decorate.  Check out the Pumpkin Picking Days Page for details.

Day care providers, youth groups and employee groups:  Contact Mary Ann at 605-757-6709 or mary_ann@garden-of-weedin.net to schedule a time for your visit.  We have a special pumpkin patch just for children's groups.
