Calling all day care providers and youth group leaders!  Employee groups welcome too! Looking for a fun outdoor activity?  Plan a trip to visit us at the Garden of Weedin'. 

We will be happy to schedule a time for you to come visit us during the hours our Produce Shed is not open to the public.  The Produce Shed will be open to visiting groups during day care or group appointments.

Due to high traffic, we are unable to set day care appointments during Pumpkin Picking Weekends (Oct. 1-3, and Oct. 8-10 only).   Thank you for your understanding. 

Group visits are by appointment only.  Call now to reserve a time for your visit.

We never charge you for your visit.  You pay only for the pumpkins!

We have a very special pumpkin patch that is only open for day care and youth groups.  The children will all be in one area - much easier for the teachers and group leaders to watch and assist.  In 2009, the patch had 600 hills of pumpkins, so there were lots of pumpkins for the children to chose from.  Whether you want larger Jack-o-lantern pumpkins or the smaller Peek a Boo pumpkins, the variety of sizes means every child can find just the right pumpkin. 

You organize the trip that works best for your group.  Bring a book and have story time by one of our displays or under the trees.  Play games.  Diesel, the dog, will be happy to play fetch - he loves kids and they love him.  Bring snacks or bring lunch and have a picnic.  We want the trip to be enjoyable for everyone. 

We will have some fun displays set up, the perfect setting for a group picture.  Don't forget your camera!

The cost for pumpkins is $1 each (plus tax).  Mini pumpkins (orange & white) are also available.  Giant and specialty pumpkins are also available at special prices. 

Daycare providers and tax-exempt groups:  Please bring a copy of your tax-exempt certificate.  Mary Ann needs a copy of the certificate so your group is not charged sales tax.

Here's a fun activity for the little ones:  Use waterbased markers to decorate a white mini pumpkin.   Wash the pumpkin to remove the marker, then allow to dry and reuse!
