Gone for the season:  Cucumbers

The extremely wet weather has caused the spread of a fungus in the cucumber patch which has caused the patch to die out. 

Rain can cause a delay in filling bean orders.  Beans cannot be picked when they are wet or they will turn a rusty brown.

Once your order has been placed and confirmed by Mary Ann, she will pick the veggies to fill your order.   Your order will be fresh picked and ready for you at the agreed upon pick up time.

Phones will be answered 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Monday through Saturday.  All other times, you will need to leave a message.

Orders left on voice mail need to be confirmed with Mary Ann prior to pick up.  Orders will not be filled until confirmed.

Please do not bring your dogs to the Garden of Weedin'.  We have a German Shepherd who loves people, but he does not like to have other dogs visit.  Thank you for your cooperation.

We do not accept debit or credit cards.  Both debit and credit cards charge the merchant for their use.  Mary Ann would be forced to pass the additional cost along to all of her customers and she is committed to keeping prices low.  Thank you for your understanding!

We do accept checks.  When paying with cash, please pay with the smallest bills possible.

Too much rain can cause problems for the garden.  Unfortunately, the heavy rains washed out the dill, carrots, okra, spinach and garlic crop, and we will not have those this year.

Peppers may be a little late this year as many of those were flooded, and Mary Ann had to replant.  Peppers WILL be available!
